Emergency Reserve Parachute Repack

Inspection and repacking service for compatible paraglider emergency reserve parachutes.

What the service includes

• Reserve removed from its deployment container
• Canopy opened and aired in a controlled low-humidity environment
• Visual inspection of the canopy, lines and relevant deployment components
• Repacking using the appropriate method for the reserve design
• Basic installation check when the complete compatible harness/container system is supplied

Why repacking matters

Long periods packed under compression can create persistent folds in reserve fabric. Moisture, contamination, corrosion and incorrect installation can also affect deployment. Repacking provides an opportunity to inspect the system and restore the manufacturer's intended packing arrangement.

Before sending your reserve

Contact Cloudbase first if you have a steerable reserve, unusual deployment system or are unsure whether we can service your particular model. Follow the reserve manufacturer's specified inspection and repack interval where one is stated.
