The UFO is AirDesign’s single-surface hike-and-fly wing built around simplicity, low weight and compact packing. Its role is straightforward: provide an easy-to-carry, uncomplicated flying tool for pilots who want to reach remote launches without carrying a conventional double-surface paraglider.

The UFO is the more universal choice in AirDesign’s single-surface family. If your priority is approachable hike-and-fly behaviour and simplicity, start here. The RONIN takes the concept further toward minimum weight, higher loading and faster, more dynamic run-and-fly use. As with any small lightweight wing, the correct size still depends on total take-off weight and pilot experience.
