Kortel Kliff III Harness
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Kortel Kliff III
Ultralight mountain and hike-and-fly harness
The Kliff III is Kortel’s minimalist mountain harness for pilots who want to keep weight and packed volume very low without reducing the harness to a crude string system. It is designed around hike-and-fly, mountaineering and compact lightweight flying kits.
At approximately 235–290 g depending on size, the Kliff III is built for pilots who count every gram. Its simple geometry and EN 1651 certification make it a specialist lightweight tool rather than an everyday all-purpose harness.
Cloudbase perspective
This is the sort of harness we would choose when the walk matters almost as much as the flight. It makes most sense with a genuinely light wing and compact reserve system; for regular soaring or longer XC flights, a more structured harness will generally provide greater support and passive protection.
