The Flymaster TAS Probe adds true airspeed and high-resolution temperature measurement to compatible Flymaster flight instruments through Flymaster's wireless interface.

True airspeed measurement

A Pitot-tube sensor measures airspeed without the exposed moving parts of an impeller. When paired with a compatible Flymaster instrument, airspeed data can support functions such as wind calculation, Speed-to-Fly, Netto Vario and stall-alert functions where supported by the connected instrument and firmware.

Temperature sensing

The integrated fast-response, high-resolution temperature sensor supplies airflow-temperature data to compatible Flymaster instruments for display and logging.

Paragliding configuration

The paragliding version is supplied with a self-orienting replaceable wind-vane tail and protective pouch.

Cloudbase perspective

This is a specialist sensor for pilots who want measured airspeed rather than relying solely on GPS-derived groundspeed and calculated wind information. Its value is greatest when paired with a Flymaster setup that supports the TAS-derived functions you actually intend to use.
