AirDesign Vivo3 EN-B
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
AirDesign Vivo 3 — accessible EN-B with room to progress
The Vivo 3 is AirDesign’s mid-EN-B progression wing, positioned between the EAZY and SOAR. Its job is straightforward: give a pilot moving beyond EN-A or an entry-level B more precise handling and useful performance while retaining the accessibility expected from a genuine progression wing.
Who it suits
This is the wing to consider when you want to develop thermalling, soaring and cross-country skills without making an unnecessarily large step in glider demand. AirDesign has kept the aspect ratio controlled while redesigning the internal structure and profile to improve cohesion, handling precision and performance.
Cloudbase perspective
The important comparison in this part of the range is not simply EN-A versus EN-B. It is how much workload is appropriate for your current experience, currency and flying goals. The Vivo 3 is intended to provide a meaningful progression from the EAZY while remaining a wing on which developing pilots can consolidate skills. For pilots who want essentially the same role with a much stronger emphasis on hike-and-fly and low pack weight, compare it directly with the LiVi 2.
