Superlight XC and hike-and-fly pod harness

The Sock SL retains the close-fitting geometry and everyday functionality of The Sock while reducing system weight substantially. At 1.65–1.85 kg depending on size, it is aimed at pilots who still want a structured pod harness, integrated inflatable protection, rescue provision and useful storage when equipment weight matters.

Cloudbase perspective

Choose between The Sock and The Sock SL according to priorities rather than assuming lighter is automatically better. The standard Sock is the more conventional everyday-XC proposition; the SL earns its place when hike-and-fly, travel, bivouac or overall pack weight is important enough to justify its lighter construction. Both need to fit the pilot properly—pod length and body support matter far more than choosing from height alone.
