Hybrid square-round emergency parachute
The DONUT combines characteristics of square and round reserve designs: pendulum stability and efficient descent with straightforward packing. Side vents contribute to stability after deployment, while the hybrid shape allows useful projected area without unnecessary packed bulk.

The DONUT 220 is the tandem-sized member of the standard DONUT family, certified to a maximum suspended load of 220 kg. Tandem reserve selection also needs to account for the complete pilot/passenger system, harness compatibility and operational requirements.
