The XPed 50L is designed for pilots who genuinely carry their flying equipment on foot. Vertical loading keeps weight close to the back, while the adjustable carrying system and accessible storage are intended for longer approaches rather than just transport from the car.

At 510 g, the 50L is particularly attractive for a compact XC wing, lightweight cocoon harness, helmet and clothing. The important distinction from a simple lightweight stuffsack is the proper carrying geometry and on-the-move access to useful pockets.
