In its stripped configuration it stays extremely compact; fitted with the removable Airbag Module, it becomes a reversible system with back protection, reserve compartment and carrying volume.

Cloudbase perspective

This is a modular mountain harness rather than a conventional all-purpose reversible. The attraction is being able to fly it light when minimum bulk matters, then add the Airbag Module when you want protection, reserve integration and backpack functionality. Choose the configuration around the flying you actually do rather than weight alone.

Key features

Split-leg construction with no seat plate

Foam-supported back

Removable waist belt

Trekking-pole attachment

Optional RADICAL 4 Airbag Module adds airbag protection, integrated reserve compartment and reversible backpack

Technical data

S

M

L

Pilot height

160–175 cm

170–185 cm

180–205 cm

Pilot weight

50–70 kg

65–90 kg

70–120 kg

Harness weight as delivered

910 g

920 g

970 g

With Airbag Module

2160 g

2190 g

2260 g

Maximum carrying volume

62 L

62 L

67 L

Back height

62 cm

65 cm

70 cm

Backrest adjustment height

30 cm

33 cm

36 cm

Seat depth

42 cm

42 cm

44 cm

Attachment-point height

45 cm

45 cm

47 cm

Attachment-point spacing

33–44 cm

33–44 cm

34–48 cm

Permissible reserve volume with module

2.9–4.75 L

2.9–4.75 L

2.9–4.75 L

Important: reserve compatibility depends on the actual packed reserve and container fit.
