Side vents contribute to stability after deployment, while the hybrid shape allows useful projected area without unnecessary packed bulk.

Cloudbase perspective

The DONUT 220 is the tandem-sized member of the standard DONUT family, certified to a maximum suspended load of 220 kg. Tandem reserve selection also needs to account for the complete pilot/passenger system, harness compatibility and operational requirements.

Reserve sizing should be based on the complete suspended load and compatibility with the harness container—not simply pilot body weight.
